A stroll along the seashore is a luxury denied to most. Those of us fortunate enough to live in the Pacific Northwest, however, not only have that luxury but we have an incredibly interesting seashore as an added bonus. Our rocky coastline provides habitats for an enormous variety of observable wildlife. No need to invest in an expensive boat or scuba gear – just bring your shoes and a sense of curiosity. (A pair of boots might help, though.) Here’s a small sample of the wildlife found along our Northwest Shores:
